Fast solution of environmental problems!

In 2007, the Department for the protection of water resources of Los Angeles recorded in Ivanhoe reservoir high in the carcinogen bromate, formed by the interaction of the bromide and chlorine to sunlight.

This reservoir was built over a hundred years ago, hence the water is delivered to approximately 600,000 customers in thousands of Los Angeles. When was the problem, the construction of a new reservoir in Griffith Park. However, the water was needed to rescue the situation and have taken the following measures

The main objective was not to allow sunlight into the water used for that thousands of black balloons. But first discussed the possibility of covering the tank with a tarpaulin and other methods - but they were either too expensive or too long. A biologist by the name of Brian White suggested using "bird balls" made of polyethylene. Such balls are used at airports in order to birds gathered in the nearby waters. One such ball costs 40 cents, and has enough features to repel UV rays.
